After the pandemic hit the world, it has left many families in disastrous conditions across the globe. People have lost their lives, their near and dear ones, and also the means for livelihood. The ones that have recovered from COVID are facing aftereffects and the ones that are still safe fear getting positive in the next wave.
The Government has declared about the upcoming third wave in August-September. And this is the right time if not already done to get vaccinated before the third wave, which is predicted to be more alarming than the first two waves.

Everyone is complaining about not getting the slot online, follow these steps to get a slot successfully :
1.Get yourself registered on COWIN
Visit Government's official website and click on Register/Sign-in option, it will ask you to fill your Mobile No., as soon as you enter your number it will send an OTP to your mobile.
Entering the OTP will take you to the main page
2. It will ask you to add member details who is to be vaccinated, you can add up to 4 members under 1 contact detail.
3. After the member gets added, a reference Id is generated against his/her name, where the last 4 digits of the reference id are considered to be secret codes and need to be revealed at the time of vaccination.
4. Next, go to Schedule, it will prompt you to the page shown below. Look for the available vaccine slots from the choice of your vaccine and date/time in your district or by pin code.
**This is the important part, you have to choose a slot around 8 PM every day or 10 AM on Sunday, the next day's slot booking time is open at this time and due to high demand, the slots are captured within half an hour just like railway ticket.
5. On the day of vaccination take your Id proof (used at the time of registration) and keep the secret code handy, these two will be used to get vaccinated.
6. After vaccination, the health worker will ask you to sit there for 30 minutes just to ensure you do not face any severe side effects of the vaccine.
7. You will be immediately issued a certificate stating that you are vaccinated and a link to download the certificate will be received on your registered mobile number.
8. Now if you go to the COWIN website, it will show your status as partially vaccinated and will show the number of days left for your second dose.
9. You can follow the same process to book a slot for your second dose to get fully vaccinated.
10.Just make sure you take the second dose of the same vaccine that you took in your first dose.
